IT ALL STARTED WITH A
CIRCLE OF FRIENDS
We were all famous (infamous?) for exchanging recipes - experimenting, creating a new sensation - and then losing the recipe! Finally, we decided to gather our favorites into a cookbook to share with family and friends. Together we put together "Ring Around a Recipe," an easy-to-reference collection. Since the mid-90s, this crafty cookbook has made its way around St. Louis, Missouri. Now, we are ready to share their cookbook with the rest of the world!
Ring Around a Recipe is a personal collection of timeless recipes, clever garnishes, fun table presentations, chef's secrets, and creative serving concepts. Ten chapters gathered together on a giant ring...Ring Around a Recipe! Explore our site and you'll get the picture. We've even highlighted some of our favorites for you.
Ring Around a Recipe was featured in the St. Louis Post Dispatch, creating a chance to share our "Snowball Cocoa" from the Nogs 'n Grogs chapter with the St. Louis area. This led to a monthly feature on local NBC station's "Show Me St. Louis." We shared our recipes and party presentations with our hometown St. louis for seven years.

Heather Berry, a journalist for "Rural Missouri" magazine, also told our story. The readers responded, and have shared great recipes from the heartland of America — Missouri.
You can make a difference
for women in need
After we were introduced to Our Lady's Inn, a St. Louis-area shelter assisting pregnant women and their children in need of housing, we began volunteering. Their important work inspires us, and we donate all proceeds from sales of Ring Around a Recipe to support their programs. Your purchase also helps us provide hand-crafted welcome bags — stuffed with their very own mug, personal pleasantries, and inspiring readings. We provide some of our favorite homemade desserts, too — because they deserve it!

We would love to help Our Lady's Inn repair the frame on their veggie patch out back. The harvest is huge, but the raised beds are sinking. Your support will help complete projects like these.
HOW RING GOT ITS LOOK
The illustrations flowing through our cookbook bring charm and character to each dish. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
ANGELS AMONG US
Our first artist — good friend Paddy Crawford — lovingly created our main character and logo, Molly Mophead. Molly's hairdo is fashioned from a barbecue mop. Paddy's angel graces the front of every chapter — and her own iced coffee recipe is featured in Nogs & Grogs (a special request at family parties). We are blessed to have Paddy's angels among us.
RUSTIC CHARM LIKE
NONE OTHER
Our other artist, Susan Cage, was "waiting in the wings" to fill our recipe cards with bits of charm — charm that makes her famous. Susan gets so hungry creating the artwork that she often trades her pencil for a spatula. Try her "Harvest Meatballs" in the Sunday Suppers chapter — they are outstanding!

Paddy and Susan have both been featured many times in Better Homes and Gardens magazine.
